Minor, Major, Superior Absorbtion Runes?
What is the amount "absorbed" per rune?
When you use one in game it will just show up as Reduces Damage From Attacks I'm sure someone can give me the diffrence absorbed.... Thanks IGN- Crucion Star |

minor subtracts -1 from the final damage you take, while major is -2, and superior is -3.

Thank You...
Is buying a superior for some huge amount really worth it for a tank for two more damage? |

It is very worth it against physical attacks and some low-power skills. If you are a tank, you'll generally be taking less than 10 damage per hit (although most of the time even less, 10 is just a conservative figure.) But assuming you're taking 10, -2 more damage is an extra 20% increase of your defensive ability. If you're taking 5 damage normally, an extra -2 defense is an extra 40% increase of your defense.
But keep in mind, high-damage spells, such as chain lightning still hit you for a lot of damage, so the superior absorption does little against them (although it is still effective against low power spells such as flare.) Also, that defense does nothing against damage over time. |

I always wondered... Does the absorbtion effect on Knight's Armour stack?

I remember reading an old post, having one of the Knights/Ascalon armor will give you damage reduction no matter where you are hit. Having 2 pieces will not make a difference, therefore the optimal configuration is to have one piece of Knight/Asacalon armor, preferably on a body part that rarely gets struck such as the boots (making your character look very weird). The absorption from the rune should stack with this damage reduction. Not sure if anything has changed since this experiement was done a while back.

I was always told the rune and the armor does not stack. So get plate with a superior absorption rune over knight basically.
